We offer partial scholarships for study stays in the Chinese cultural region for a maximum of 5 months, as well as a mobility grant.

Funding Amount:

• Monthly partial scholarship: 150 € (maximum 5 months)
• Travel allowance: up to 850 €

Who can apply?

Students currently enrolled at public universities and universities of applied sciences in Bavaria.

• Signed application (StipSys version)
• CV
• Letter of motivation 
• Study plan (provisional)
• Transcript of records from the examination office
• Current enrollment certificate
• Letter of recommendation from an academic superviser
• Certificate of admission from the host university (can be submitted later)

November 15      → for the summer semester of the following year

After returning from your study visit - Next steps?

Within six months of returning, but no later than February 28 for stays in China during the summer semester or August 31 for stays in China during the winter semester, the following documents must be submitted:

• Copy of entry and exit stamps (passport)
• Transcript of records from the host university

• Original receipts (max. 850 €) for:
  • Flights (economy class)
  • Train (2nd class, in connection with arrival/departure in China)
  • Taxi (in connection with arrival/departure in China)
  • Visa
  • Health & liability insurance
  • Vaccinations
