BayCHINA supports students and researchers from Bavarian colleges and universities with the aim of expanding academic cooperation between Bavaria and China.

The funding programmes for academics include the Project-Related Researcher Exchange (proWA) programme, which supports cooperation in research and teaching as well as the initiation of contacts with China, and the funding offer for study excursions (StudEx) to the cultural region of China.

For students, BayCHINA offers funding opportunities for internships, study visits and academic theses in the cultural region of China.
