BayCHINA's online Chinese language course is aimed at students from all Bavarian public universities and universities of applied sciences who are interested in Chinese culture and language or who wish to study or pursue an internship in China. The online language course is also suitable for the additional study programme "China-Kompetenz" and can be credited for the module "Chinese Language".

The online language course builds on previously acquired basic knowledge of the Chinese language (up to level UNIcert A2.2) and is based on the requirements for level UNIcert B1.1. The language course enables learners to expand their vocabulary, learn grammar, improve their reading and writing skills and improve conversation and listening comprehension. After successfully completing the course, learners should be able to communicate in Chinese in everyday situations.

The online language course focuses on the four skills "speaking", "listening", "reading" and "writing", with practical application taking centre stage. The learning materials used provide learners with information about the country and cover a wide range of topics such as living, travelling, studying, leisure, sport, etc.
